About Grade 4 Tap
11 - 18yrs
This class is suitable for dancers who have previous Tap experience.
Tap dance is an exciting and energetic style that encourages children to make music with their feet whilst developing rhythm, coordination, musicality and confidence. Our fun and engaging classes help dancers improve their timing, stamina and listening skills as they learn a wide variety of tap steps and combinations.
Following the IDTA Tap syllabus, children build strong technical foundations whilst enjoying creative exercises, choreography and performance opportunities. Classes are designed to be inclusive and encouraging, allowing every child to progress at their own pace in a positive and supportive environment.
Dancers also have the opportunity to take optional IDTA Tap examinations, giving them achievable goals and the chance to celebrate their hard work and progress throughout their dance journey.

Things to know
What you need to bring
For the trial please wear something you can move easily in, e.g. leggings/shorts and a t-shirt with bare feet or trainers. Following the trial, uniform must be worn.
