About Grade 2 Ballet
10 - 13yrs
This class is suitable for dancers who have some Ballet experience.
Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and provides children with the essential skills to grow into confident, well-rounded dancers. Through fun, engaging and imaginative classes, dancers develop coordination, flexibility, balance, posture, strength and musicality, whilst building confidence and creativity.
Our Ballet classes follow the IDTA syllabus, alongside free work, creative activities and performance elements that bring variety to each lesson. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace in a supportive and nurturing environment where they can develop a love for dance whilst making new friends and having fun.
For those who wish to, dancers have the opportunity to work towards optional IDTA Ballet examinations, celebrating their progress and achievements as they continue to grow.

Things to know
What you need to bring
For the trial please wear something you can move easily in, e.g. leggings/shorts and a t-shirt with bare feet or trainers. Following the trial, uniform must be worn.
