About Newport Primary KS1 LAMDA Club

Our 1-hour KS1 LAMDA Club for Years 1 & 2 at Newport Primary School helps children build confidence, communication and performance skills in a fun, creative and supportive environment.
Children work towards either the LAMDA Entry Level Acting or Verse & Prose syllabus, preparing for an internationally recognised LAMDA examination each year. Acting students develop a short monologue, while Verse & Prose students learn to perform a poem and a prose extract with expression, clarity and confidence.
Through imaginative games, storytelling, voice work and performance activities, children develop clear communication, creativity, stage presence and self-belief while having lots of fun.
🏆 We are proud to have a 100% Distinction pass rate in our LAMDA examinations.
