The Breakdance Academy is a fun, supportive space where beginners can learn the foundations of breakdancing (also known as breaking) with confidence.
After the success of our established classes at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh, we’re excited to be expanding and welcoming even more dancers into our community.
We specialise in beginner-friendly classes, focusing on rhythm, coordination, strength, creativity, and self-expression. Whether your child is stepping into dance for the very first time or already loves moving to music, our classes are designed to meet them where they’re at and help them grow.
Breakdancing is an Olympic sport and a powerful form of street culture, but at its heart it’s about having fun, moving your body, and expressing who you are. That’s exactly what we aim to nurture at The Breakdance Academy.
We welcome complete beginners, offer free trial classes, and create an environment where effort matters more than perfection.
