About Science Club @ Blessed Dominic Catholic Primary School

This term, children will become young scientists through a packed programme of hands-on experiments, investigations, and discoveries. Pupils will extract real DNA from bananas, explore flight and Bernoulli’s principle, investigate cartoons and optical illusions, create Elephant’s Toothpaste, solve forensic mysteries, study fossils, make slime, learn about wind, explore diffusion through colourful fireworks, discover biomimicry, investigate plant lifecycles, and take part in Brain Olympics challenges. Each session introduces exciting scientific ideas in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate way, helping children build curiosity, confidence, observation skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
