About Tap & Dance Starz KS2
7 - 11yrs
Dance Starz & Tap combines the energy and creativity of modern dance with the rhythm and technique of tap, with dancers enjoying 45 minutes of each class on alternate weeks. Set to popular chart music, Dance Starz explores contemporary, street, and jazz-inspired styles, developing confidence, musicality, flexibility, fitness, coordination, teamwork, and creativity through exciting choreography.
In Tap Starz, dancers learn the foundations of tap, developing rhythm, timing, coordination, balance, and control while building confidence and having fun. Following our structured syllabus, children are continually challenged to progress in a supportive and encouraging environment where they can make friends and develop a lifelong love of dance.
Uniform is not compulsory; leggings and a t-shirt or school PE kit are perfect. Personalised Dance Starz t-shirts and tap shoes are available, just let us know if you'd like to buy!
