About Starz Ballet®️ KS2
7 - 11yrs
Designed for children in Key Stage 2, this class is the final stage of our ballet progression pathway. Building on the foundations developed in our younger classes, dancers continue to develop their confidence, technique, and understanding of ballet.
This structured 45-minute class focuses on posture, balance, coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility, and more advanced ballet movements. Dancers are encouraged to think creatively, contribute ideas, and express themselves through movement and choreography.
Working independently and as part of a team, children develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of achievement. Following our structured syllabus, dancers are supported and challenged to reach their full potential in a fun, positive, and inspiring environment.
Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable to dance in is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of tutus and dancewear through our website, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.
