About Introduction to Independent Ballet
3 - 4yrs
Our introduction to independent Ballet class is the perfect next step for children who are ready to dance on their own while still having the reassurance of their parent or carer nearby. Building on the skills learned in our Mixed Age classes, dancers begin to focus more on ballet technique while continuing to learn through imagination, music, movement, and fun.
Children participate independently while parents watch from the side, offering encouragement and support. Using exciting props and creative activities, dancers develop confidence, coordination, and a deeper understanding of ballet.
This class is a fantastic stepping stone towards fully independent classes, helping children build important life skills such as listening, following instructions, taking turns, sharing, working with others, and becoming part of a team. Above all, we create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can grow in confidence, develop a love of dance, and celebrate their achievements.
