About Introduction to Independent Ballet

Our Intro to Independent Ballet class is the perfect next step for children who are ready to dance independently while still having the reassurance of their parent or carer nearby. Building on the foundations learned in our Mixed Age classes, dancers begin to focus more on ballet technique while continuing to learn through music, movement, imagination, and fun.
Children take part independently while parents watch from the side, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a deeper understanding of ballet. This class is a fantastic stepping stone towards fully independent classes, developing listening skills, teamwork, independence, and self-confidence.
Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable that allows freedom of movement is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.
