About Independent Ballet
4 - 7yrs
Independent Ballet is designed for children aged 4 years and over who are ready to attend class independently in a fun and supportive environment. While parents and carers remain within the venue, dancers build confidence, responsibility, and self-belief as they learn on their own.
Classes focus on developing ballet technique, posture, balance, coordination, musicality, and spatial awareness, while introducing correct ballet terminology to support future progression. Through engaging activities, props, and creative movement, children continue to develop confidence, focus, perseverance, teamwork, and a lifelong love of dance.
Uniform is not compulsory at Starz; anything comfortable to dance in is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of tutus and dancewear through our website, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.
