About Novice Street Dance
7 - 11yrs
Our Novice Street Styles class represents self-expression. A high-energy class incorporating hip hop choreography as well as foundations of street styles (such as litefeet, grooves, locking & house).
Students start by learning the basic steps of each style and practising them until they feel comfortable.
This class builds children’s confidence, and they get to meet lots of new friends in a safe environment. We recommend adding on gymnastics with this class , as street dance can use a lot of upper body strength to perform tricks, and the gymnastic class will complement the dancers and help master those more challenging moves.
