About PPD Core Skills (Elite 10) U10-U11

This is the more advanced session in our foundation Phase U9-U12's.
Ball Mastery – The ball is the tool of a footballer’s trade and being able to use that tool properly is fundamental to an effective performance. Whether they are protecting the ball in tight areas or trying to create a shooting opportunity on goal, when a young player can confidently make the ball do what they need it to, they will have the edge over their opposition.
Technical Repetitions – A key element of our program is to practice and repeat set actions and patterns so that the move becomes second nature, allowing the player to think forward about what they are going to do next.
Receiving Skills – Being able to receive the ball correctly allows players to dictate where they want to go next, putting them in control.
1V1 – No matter how good a team is at working together, there will always be moments when it comes down to players facing each other one on one.
