Junior Crickets (5–8 Years)
Building on the strong foundations developed in our younger sessions, Junior Crickets helps children take the next exciting step in their cricket journey.
These sessions introduce more game-based learning, allowing children to develop a deeper understanding of how cricket is played — while still keeping everything fun, active and engaging.
Children will continue to develop:
Batting, bowling and fielding skills
Throwing and catching technique
Game awareness and decision-making
Teamwork and communication
Confidence and coordination
Both technical skills and simple tactical understanding are introduced in age-appropriate ways and brought to life through simple skill-based games .
Our focus is always on maximising participation so every child is involved, learning and enjoying themselves in a fun, supportive environment.
Note: Parents and guardians are expected to stay, participate and remain responsible for their child throughout the class
