Our Junior Modern class for dancers aged 9–12 introduces children to a dynamic and expressive style of dance that blends the grace of ballet with energetic jumps, turns, travelling steps and storytelling through movement. Following the internationally recognised ISTD Modern syllabus, dancers develop strength, flexibility, coordination and musicality while learning to perform with confidence and expression.
Classes focus on building excellent dance technique, rhythm and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment. Modern dance is the perfect complement to ballet training, helping dancers become stronger, more versatile performers while encouraging creativity and individuality.
With small class sizes and personalised teaching, every dancer is supported to progress at their own pace and reach their full potential.
