At Funics, we prepare ears, voices, and fingers for reading and writing through fun, interactive classes for children aged 2.5 years up to school age. Led by qualified teachers, our sessions share the joy of language in creative, energetic, and accessible ways for both carers and children.
Each week, we explore a new story and focus on a sound or language skill using action songs, rhymes, creative activities, and play, developing essential listening and speaking skills. We nurture phonics, gross and fine motor skills, and encourage lots of talking to support children’s natural growth and a love of literacy.
Plus, on Fridays, we offer a special session for Reception and KS1 home-educated children to work on handwriting, phonics, and reading skills.
