The Drama &amp; LAMDA after school club aims to build the confidence, creativity and expressive skills of every child we work with. We are confident that your child will benefit from these classes, as participating in drama and performing arts has been shown to support children in the following ways:• Improved speech and language skills • Increased confidence • Enhanced creativity and problem solving skills • Improved wellbeing • Greater engagement with learning and academic progressLAMDA stands for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. These exams support the development of clear speech, communication and performance skills. Children will have the opportunity to be entered for optional LAMDA examinations each term and will receive a certificate upon completion.Students progress through the grades over time, with higher level qualifications contributing towards UCAS points for university entry.
