Our teens class is designed to help ELEVATE young peoples' confidence & self belief, and foster positive friendships via Authentic Street Dance styles. Each term our teens focus on one Street Dance Style (Breaking, Hip Hop, House, Popping, or Locking) They develop their technique, musicality, performance skills, teamwork, choreography skills, creativity and more, in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. Our teens learn a routine each term which is performed to friends and family so YOU get to celebrate their progress. They also work on their individual freestyle which allows them to get creative with the material learned and start to build upon their own movement style - Because at Elevate Arts we believe learning to dance is more than standing in lines copying the teacher. It's about freedom, self expression, individuality, feeling the music and being confident enough to bust a move anywhere!
