About Rising Stars Tap & Ballet (IDTA Primary Grade)
8 - 12yrs
Rising Stars Tap & Ballet is a fun, inspiring class for children aged 8–12 who are ready to grow in confidence, technique and performance skills. Following the internationally recognised International Dance Teachers' Association Primary Grade syllabus, dancers will learn strong foundations in both tap and ballet while progressing in a supportive and encouraging environment.
In tap, children will develop rhythm, musicality, coordination and precision, learning to create clear sounds and dynamic routines. In ballet, they’ll build posture, balance, flexibility, strength and graceful movement while improving overall technique.
Alongside dance skills, we focus on confidence, discipline, teamwork and creativity—helping every child shine both in and out of the studio. With expert coaching, small class sizes and a nurturing atmosphere, Rising Stars is the perfect place for children to progress, make friends and discover a lifelong love of dance.
