About Matisse Still Life Art Inspiration Workshop for Children
5 - 16yrs
What To Expect
· Your child will discover the vibrant still lifes of Artist, Henri Matisse.
· Collage and paint your own A3 canvas board artworks inspired by the Matisse's work and the eclectic colourful still life set up for the workshop.
· All materials & an apron provided.
· Bring home their creative ideas, handouts & their A3 canvas board artworks to proudly display at home.
· We will support one another to encourage artistic freedom and confidence.
· Parents/guardians can chose to leave their child after registration and return after the session, or they are welcome to stay and accompany! It is advisable, due to some of the processes we will use, if you have a younger child (below 8) you should stay. Please note that though this event is advertised to children aged 5-16, 4 year olds can attend if they are already attending school.

Things to know
What you need to bring
Your child may wish to bring an interesting object to add (temporarily) to the still life. An apron is provided, but please be aware that clothing or shoes may get paint on, so dress accordingly.
