About Intermediate IDTA Ballet
13 - 18yrs+
Our Intermediate IDTA Ballet class is designed for experienced dancers aged approximately 13yrs + who are working towards this vocational level in their ballet training. This class focuses on developing strong classical technique, artistry, musicality, strength and performance quality in line with the IDTA Syllabus.
Students will continue to progress their ballet vocabulary through barre work, centre practice, adage, pirouettes, allegro and travelling sequences, while building the technical standard required for vocational examinations and advanced dance training.
Pointe work exercises are included within the intermediate syllabus, therefore this class is not suitable for beginners or children who are new to ballet training. Students are assessed by out teachers to ensure they are working at the correct level are physically ready for the demands of the class.
This class is ideal for dedicated ballet students looking to further their technique, confidence and performance skills.

Ballet shoes, leotard and tights (Pointe shoes if you have them). Hair in a bun and please bring a water bottle.
