About Core 1 Ballet - Friday

Ballet is the foundation of every great dancer. Our classes develop strong technique, posture, musicality, flexibility and control while building confidence, discipline and artistry in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Following the IDTA Ballet syllabus alongside our own carefully designed Dance Unlimited curriculum, dancers progress through age and ability-appropriate training, developing strength, coordination, expression and performance skills as they grow. Students also have the opportunity to work towards IDTA examinations and perform in our spectacular dance shows.
Whether ballet is your child's favourite style or forms part of a wider dance education, it provides the essential foundations that support every dancer's development and help them flourish across all styles of dance.
Core 1 Ballet is based on the IDTA Grade 1 Ballet framework alongside Dance Unlimited's own unique curriculum.

Things to know
What you need to bring
Please wear suitable clothes to dance in such as leggings, t-shirt or leotard/tights if you have them. Bare feet or socks, unless you already own ballet shoes. A water bottle to keep hydrated!
What we provide
We supply all equipment, props and anything needed for class. Full uniform information will be provided after your initial class.
