About Weekend Tech Academy

ComputerXplorers South Buckinghamshire is launching a new Weekend Tech Academy at St. Thomas’s Church Hall, Beaconsfield. Every Saturday morning, children can dive into fun, creative, and hands-on digital learning that inspires curiosity and builds lifelong skills. We will be running two separate age groups:
Junior Xplorers (ages 6–8): 10:00–11:00 a.m. – An introduction to coding, simple game design, and playful digital creativity to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
Tech Explorers (ages 9–12): 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. – More advanced projects in coding, robotics, digital storytelling, app creation, and interactive STEM challenges that push imagination further.
Our curriculum includes coding with Scratch, robotics, Minecraft builds, digital design, and key digital literacy skills. Each session is designed to spark imagination, develop logical thinking, and nurture future-ready tech confidence in a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment.
