8 - 12yrs
Our Pre-Intermediate LEGO Robotics course is designed for children aged 8+ with basic robotics experience gained from completing at least a year of our Introductory course. It bridges the gap between block programming and Scratch, offering a more powerful programming experience.
Using familiar kits like WeDo 2.0, students build LEGO models and program them with Scratch, preparing for more advanced classes. This course suits students transitioning from introductory sessions or those with Scratch experience eager to explore LEGO robotics.
As the course progresses, students tackle increasingly complex challenges, building models that solve intricate problems while continuing the fun and creativity of earlier sessions.
Please note the lower age limit is strict as this class is challenging and bookings made for children below the age range will be refunded minus a booking fee. However, for older children who have never encountered LEGO Robotics this is the ideal starting point
