About Parent & Child Lego Robotics - SUMMER 2025: SHMC
6 - 11yrs
This session is specifically for children who may need the additional support of having a parent around, or as a chance for parents to spend a bit of quality time learning about and building LEGO robots with their children.
In these sessions, children build the models along with a parent or carer. The sessions have been designed for children who may be shy or nervous and so the number of children in the session is much lower than our other sessions and children have less interaction with other children.
The focus is on building the model in pairs with the parent. A member of staff will be on hand to provide hints and tips while you are building.
Please note, this is not a free-building session, and some of the models can be quite challenging. The lower age limit of 6 is strict, so any bookings made for children below this age will be rejected and you will be refunded minus a booking fee.
Parents must stay for the duration of the session.
