9 - 16yrs
This class is for students who are ready to apply everything they have learned so far in robotics.
Students work together to design, build and program robots to solve more complex engineering challenges using competition-style mats and missions. The focus is on teamwork, creative problem solving and testing ideas, learning how to improve a robot through experimentation and iteration.
The sessions are inspired by international robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO League, World Robot Olympiad and VEX IQ Challenge. Students may have the opportunity to take part in competitions if they wish. Competition entry fees are paid separately.
We currently use robotics systems such as LEGO EV3 and Spike Prime and will also introduce other robotics platforms used in competitions.
