About Acorns at the Glade

The Glade is a dedicated woodland space for children to engage in traditional outdoor play and seasonal discovery. Our programs are designed to reconnect young people with the natural world through hands-on activities and child-led exploration.
ACORNS is a programme for parents or carers and their kids aged 4 and under. It's designed to promote your child's physical development and build early social skills, while putting them on the path toward building a deep connection with the natural world.
Activities to include:
🔎 Bug hunting
🌳 Tree climbing
🍂 Seasonal crafts.
REMEMBER: These are for parents and children to grow together 🌱 so you both come along!
This activity's meeting point is the picnic tables opposite our signposted Community Garden, departing for the Forest School at your chosen session start time.
If you are at all unsure or are joining us a little late, check into the offices at our Reception building and we'll show you the way!
