About Wednesday 5pm The Drive Church, Ilford - Football Free Play
5 - 11yrs
We are focused on helping children enjoy being active in a way that feels natural, relaxed and fun. Football Free Play is about giving children the chance to play the game without pressure, heavy coaching or over-structured drills.
Children turn up, sort themselves into teams and play. They get to make decisions, communicate with each other, solve problems, and enjoy football in its simplest form.
The session is open to mixed ages and abilities. Our role is to provide a safe, supervised space, with staff on-site from a welfare and safeguarding point of view. We are not there to coach or control the session, but to make sure the children are safe, supported and able to enjoy themselves.
The aim is simple: to create a space where children can build confidence, stay active, make friends and fall in love with playing football, regardless of their ability or experience.
