About Calaveras Art Inspiration Workshop
5 - 16yrs
Discover the vibrant imagery of Mexican Calaveras (decorative sugar skulls); children will explore their own ideas to create a unique painting on an A3 canvas, using bold colours & intricate patterns.
What to expect:
This workshop is designed to inspire confidence, ignite imagination & give your child the freedom to create.
During the workshop, your child will:
Create their own Calavera inspired artwork on canvas
All resources and an apron provided
Take home their artwork, creative ideas & handouts.
We support children to:
Express themselves freely
Build confidence in their own ideas
Embrace “mistakes” as part of the creative journey
We do not focus on perfection, instead we focus on the process, the feeling, the meaning and the joy of creating.
All abilities welcome.
Drop-off or stay
Most parents & carers drop-off their children, but if your child prefers you to stay for the beginning, or til the end, you are welcome to.
