Session Theme: 3v3 Beginners Play Phase Sessions Age Group: U5–U6Indoor every saturday 10am at Harper Green, BL4 0DH Using AirPitches allows the session to replicate the feel of a real game while keeping the environment appropriately scaled for U5 and U6 players. The smaller playing area creates frequent involvement, more touches of the ball and regular opportunities to attack, defend, score and transition.<ul><li>Encourage players to receive, carry and pass the ball with confidence.</li><li>Develop an understanding of space and movement when attacking.</li><li>Provide repeated opportunities to make decisions without excessive coach intervention.</li><li>Develop confidence through a high number of meaningful game actions.</li></ul>The emphasis is on creating an environment where players can explore, make decisions, experience success and learn from mistakes as they will head into the 3v3 format at u7.
