I am really excited to be bringing Signing Babies classes, that focus on BSL signs, to Devon. I am passionate about sharing these signs with both babies and adults, encouraging early communication and a lifelong skill.

I have a now 2 year old daughter who loves using her signs. We have been signing together for around 18months and it has been a joy to see her first attempt, and then learn a huge variety of signs. Early days, it helped her communicate what she wanted, for example around meal times. I also found her frustration reduced as a result of signing, as she was able to communicate before speech. Her speech came on early, and she is now a fantastic communicator verbally, and she loves to sign alongside!

I am currently BSL Level 1, and am training BSL Level 2 alongside teaching, keen to keep learning myself.

I have been running Signing Babies and teaching Early years since September 2024 and I absolutely love it. I have seen babies develop their first signs and communicate for the first time on many occasions already, and it brings me so much joy. I love teaching both children and adults and really enjoy how the classes are informative but fun. I hope to see you in my classes soon!
