Progressive Watford Holiday Activity Camp - where children learn, grow, create — and have fun being active
Progressive Watford exists to encourage and inspire children to learn, grow and be active. With over 20 years of experience across both formal and informal educational settings — including after-school clubs, Saturday schools and holiday programmes — we understand how to create engaging environments where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to thrive. Led by an experienced team, our holiday clubs combine fun, activity and creativity with a strong focus on each child's individual needs.

We understand that every child engages, learns and has fun in different ways. That's why our unique four-zone approach is designed to support the whole child throughout the day.
Active — Sport, movement and structured physical activity that keeps children moving, builds confidence and develops physical skills.
Wellness — Calm spaces for regulation, reflection and resetting when children need a quieter moment.
Discovery — Child-led exploration that encourages curiosity, independence, confidence and positive social skills.
Creative — Arts, crafts and imaginative play that give children opportunities to express themselves, experiment and create.
Our sessions are free-flowing within a clear structure, giving children the freedom to choose, explore and grow while maintaining strong safeguarding, supervision and support.

With more than 20 years of experience in formal education and informal childcare settings, Progressive Watford understands what it takes to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children.
Our team members are DBS enhanced and paediatric first-aid certified, and we operate a strict sign-in and sign-out policy. Children are released only to named, authorised adults, giving parents peace of mind throughout the day.
We maintain a 1:10 staff-to-child ratio, in line with Ofsted guidance we follow, ensuring children receive appropriate supervision, support and attention throughout their time with us.
What to expect
Over the week will be packed with different activities, giving children the chance to be active, creative, curious and have fun with their friends.
Activities include: Dodgeball, Nerf activities, Football, Dance & movement, Arts & crafts, Slime Lab, Archery
During this fun-packed week they will have even more to look forward to with our themed days, including an autumn-inspired character day featuring mask-making, dress-up and a fun party.
Whether your child loves sport, enjoys getting creative, wants to make new friends or simply loves trying something different, Progressive Watford gives them the space to choose, explore, create and belong.
They'll leave having had a brilliant day — active, inspired, confident and already looking forward to coming back.
