About Phonics with Robot Reg York
Phonics with Robot Reg Classes provide fun, high-energy classes which open a world of Literacy to children and teach early phonics skills, including early pronunciation, listening for sounds and oral blending skills. Classes are available for children aged 12 months – 4 years.
Minis classes for children aged 12-36 months, focus on early speech and language skills, pronunciation, communication development and vocabulary extension. All of the activities are based around a sound and children practise making the sound through opportunities created through play-based activities and exploration.
Preschool classes for children aged 3 years until starting school. These offer slightly more structure and focus on listening skills, hearing sounds within words and oral blending and segmenting with our mascot Robot Reg. This is encouraged through activities and games, which adults can join in with too and ensuring you learn about early phonics together.
A Phonics with Robot Reg Class is fun, engaging, varied and educational, and the best part is that children don’t even realise that they are learning.
