Hi I’m Jo and I have been a primary school teacher for 25 years, always specialising in teaching the younger years. My love of Early Years began when I spent a year in Japan teaching English to kindergarten children. I also have 3 teenage children who many years ago were all under five so I know firsthand how much a good storybook can save the day! I am a passionate about children gaining early literacy skills, believing these open the door to a magical world of imagination and awe-inspiring facts!  That’s why I’m excited to be setting up these fabulous phonics classes in Sevenoaks with this award-winning company. Your child will barely notice they are learning as you have fun together learning letter sounds, identifying these sounds in words, becoming familiar with essential rhymes and songs and even building up arm and finger muscles along with hand-eye coordination! You will also gain confidence to put these skills into practice at home between weekly sessions: Being school-ready will be a breeze in all sorts of ways! I can’t wait to welcome you and your little ones to my classes!
