About Oye Ninos
IHola! Welcome to 'Oye Ninos' the home of Spanish for little people. I specialise in running Spanish classes for children aged 0-11 years. My classes are fun and engaging and cater to all levels of need. Language learning should be fun and interactive in order to bring the learning to life whilst ensuring a focus on the three strands of oracy, literacy and inter-cultural understanding. I am a creative person with a natural artistic flair, always looking for ways to make learning exciting and purposeful and this is what makes teaching Spanish so enjoyable for me.
At 'Oye Ninos' I use games, rhymes, role play and songs aiming to engage and encourage the children to become confident language learners and opening the door to a world full of possibilities.
With small group sessions, the children are guaranteed personalised attention and interactive learning.

The methodology
The emphasis of La Jolie Ronde’s programme is on listening and speaking activities, with reading and writing skills being gradually and sensitively introduced in line with the child’s linguistic development in general and as he/she progresses through the course. The context of the language must be based on the real world within the child’s experience. Through various real communication situations, the course stimulates children’s interest and motivates them to use the language for themselves. Our programme introduces the 4 skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The introduction of the written word always remains within the child’s capability; it is the basis of a game, an important source of reference for logical thinking and memorising and provides a visible sense of achievement and progression.
