About Little Learners Wakefield

Hello my name is Joanna and I live in Wakefield with my husband Ian and our daughter Myla (11 months). I run Little Learners educational messy play classes and parties in Wakefield. Little Learners is a multi award-winning educational mark making program that develops early writing skills through messy play.

I am a qualified PE Teacher and have taught for over 10 years, the past 5 years I was teaching abroad in Shanghai, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within British International Schools, teaching children from pre-school through to sixth-form. I have a passion for teaching and love that I can share my passion through Little Learners classes with the children of Wakefield. Teaching has given me first-hand experience of what mark making brings to children. Mark making supports skills needed for early writing, fine motor skills, hand-eye co-ordination and so much more.
