About Little Fizz
🎶 Hi, I’m Lizz — founder of Little Fizz
Nearly 20 years ago I began creating Little Fizz to bring families together through music, play and shared moments of joy. What started as a small idea has grown into a multi award-winning programme of baby and toddler classes, loved by families across Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan
🌈 Little Fizz is now a Community Interest Company, helping more families experience the joy and benefits of music, creativity and connection in the early years.
🌈 As a Community Interest Company, Little Fizz exists to create joyful early-years experiences while helping more families access music, play and connection in their local community.
💜 I have over 33 years’ experience working with children, including roles as a nanny, SEN Support Worker, Teaching Assistant and Qualified Children’s Librarian. I’m also a mum of two, so I understand how important those early years are for both children and parents.
✨ I write all the Little Fizz songs, carefully craafted to be playful, catchy and memorable to support early development through music and movement. Most are downloadable, so families can enjoy them at home, in the car or out exploring the world together.
🏆 Little Fizz has received 8 national awards, including Best Independent Children’s Business in Wales (2022) and a Remarkable Achievement Award (2024) from What’s On 4 Kids UK.
🏆 In 2021 Little Fizz received the “Triumph Over Lockdown” National Award, recognising the first baby and toddler classes in Wales to safely restart following the 2020 lockdown.
🏆 In 2025 I was honoured to be a UK Finalist for Diversity & Inclusion Champion, recognising the inclusive, welcoming ethos that sits at the heart of Little Fizz.
🏆This year I am proud to be a Finalist for "Community Beacon UK Award" with Children's Activities Association and also a Finalist for Lifelong Achievement with Club Hub UK
🌈 What Little Fizz offers
• Weekly themed baby and toddler classes in Penarth at Belle Vue Community Centre and Café (Mondays and Tuesdays)
• Creative sessions for schools, nurseries and SEND settings
• Original Little Fizz songs and immersive themed learning adventures
• A supportive community where every child and family is welcomed
💜 Little Fizz sessions are relaxed, supportive and child-led. Mess is fine, curiosity is encouraged and joy is always at the centre. Each term introduces a new learning theme to keep the experience fresh, playful and full of discovery.
💜 Families also receive newsletters, links to downloadable Little Fizz songs and simple ideas to continue the fun at home.
