Katie Glenn

Katie Glenn is the captain of our ship here at HartbeepsSSCM.

Katie trained at the BRIT SCHOOL (Musical theatre and business Arts management.)

She also has gained a degree from Roehampton university. In her pre Hartbeeps roles she has worked on stage & screen as a credited actor and also in resorts in the leisure and travel industry as a vocalist.

Katie loves the theatrical and musical elements Hartbeeps channels creating its magical sessions, and it is a real benefit to have her on board to devise our weekly session plans at Hartbeeps sutton cobham molesey and flex her directive muscles. “When I first became a mum, and returned to sessions on the other side of the sunshine I truly realised the value of what we do, as more than just a very fancy song time …. (For me it really was about helping us find the joy and laughs when things can feel all a bit serious) attending with my baby, I was creating special stop and breath moments for me and my boy, where I’d feel the pressure hold off a while. As new parents we can put SOOO much pressure on ourselves to be perfect, that along with the shock of a huge lifestyle change meant an immersive magical play world segment weekly, was most welcomed. We both loved the music, the vibes the costumes. It really was a big part of our week and contributed to our bonding. We was relocating area an realised hartbeeps was something I did not want to leave behind…..

That’s when I decided to take the leap and return from maternity not just a class leader but a franchisee – and i'm pleased to say I’ve never looked back. Fletcher my oldest now 5 still remembers loads of the songs an actions, he could probably run a class for me  . The beginning years really do go so fast, so I am truly honoured that I get to witness it over and over again and help nurture new parents and families of the community. I have the best job in the world and am really proud of what we have grown into over the years now operating in 8 venues weekly!”
