WELCOME

I'm Carrie, the owner of Boogie Beat's flagship franchise in Cheddar, which has been running in the local area for 20 years+, and with me in my 5th year already!

I take huge pride in running my weekly classes and workshops in schools, nurseries, toddler groups, with childminders and in care homes.
I love creating a welcoming and stimulating environment for parents, grandparents and carers to enjoy with their little ones and to watch their confidence and social skills grow. Each Boogie Beat session is packed with energetic, fun activities themed around traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes, with an active dance twist. We use our own composed music and beautiful illustrations, together with an array of props; scarves, parachute, bean bags, ribbons, puppets, bubbles and percussion instruments.

Our baby class, for newborns to pre-walkers, is all of the above, but at a more sedentary pace and with time set aside to explore, play and chat at the end of each class.

For special celebrations, I run Boogie Beat parties, which is a lovely way for you to include friends & family in the same fun that you enjoy in classes each week. Please contact me for a booking form and I can help you plan your party.
