A weekly home education session at Thunderbolt Cards in New Malden, where children learn to play trading card games in a friendly, welcoming space.Whether your child has never opened a booster pack or already has a deck they are proud of, our sessions cover it all: understanding the rules, building and refining a deck, and playing matches against others at a similar level. Along the way they pick up skills that stretch well beyond the table, including quick mental maths, reading and comprehension, forward planning, turn taking and good sportsmanship.Just as important is the social side. Home educated children get regular time with others who share the same interest, making friends over a shared hobby in a relaxed setting rather than a classroom.All equipment is provided, so there is nothing to bring. Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check and is first aid trained.
