The Learning Village is a calm, teacher-led KS1 learning series, created especially with home educated children in mind. This 5-week Year 2 Maths course supports children aged 6–7 to build confidence and fluency in core areas (number bonds to 10, place value, odd/even, greater than/less than, 1×/2×/5×/10× tables, time and money). Each session is taught by a retired teacher and SENCo who has first-hand experience supporting home education, and parents will also leave with clear, simple methods to continue the learning at home.This term is a pilot / test-and-learn programme, so numbers are intentionally kept very small to ensure a high-quality experience and personalised support — spaces are extremely limited. Younger / older siblings are welcome to attend with you, however please note the teaching and activities are designed for the Year 2 child only and siblings will not be included in the session content.
