About Wokingham: Drama Discovery Experience 2026 (Seniors)
12 - 16yrs
Would your teen like to try drama, but they find the thought of walking into a brand new class difficult? Our free Drama Discovery Experience gives them an easier way to begin.
Week 1: Come and watch
Your teen will attend with a parent of carer and watch approximately 20 minutes of a StageAbility class. We have picked a really fun one for you to watch!
Week 2: Come and join in
If your teen enjoys their first visit, they can return the following week and join the class independently. We will be exploring comedy in pantomimes, with lots of accessible, enjoyable games and activities.
Our teachers understand that every child's confidence develops differently. Children are supported to participate at their own pace and will never be put under pressure to perform. Both sessions are completely free.
If your teen watches the first session and decides they are not ready to return, that is fine. The purpose of this is to remove the pressure of taking the first step.
