About KS4 Foundation Science
14 - 16yrs
Our GCSE Science Programme is designed for students in Years 10 and 11, providing comprehensive preparation for GCSE examinations in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Developed by qualified science teachers, the programme follows the Key Stage 4 National Curriculum and supports the specifications of all major GCSE examination boards, with particular emphasis on those used by local schools.
Biology: Cell biology, organisation, infection and response, bioenergetics, homeostasis and response, inheritance, variation and evolution, and ecology.
Chemistry: Atomic structure, the periodic table, bonding, quantitative chemistry, chemical and energy changes, organic chemistry, chemical analysis, the atmosphere and using resources.
Physics: Energy, electricity, particle model of matter, atomic structure, forces, waves, magnetism, electromagnetism and space physics.
All sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced science teachers.
