About KS4 Foundation Maths

GCSE Maths Foundation(Years 10 & 11)
Our GCSE Maths Programme is designed for students in Years 10 and 11, providing comprehensive preparation for Foundation and Higher GCSE examinations. Developed by qualified maths teachers, the programme follows the Key Stage 4 National Curriculum and supports the specifications of all major GCSE examination boards.
Number: Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, standard form, surds, approximation and financial mathematics.
Algebra: Expressions, formulae, equations, inequalities, sequences, graphs, quadratics, indices and algebraic fractions.
Ratio, Proportion and Rates of Change: Ratio, direct and inverse proportion.
Geometry and Measure: Angles, shapes, circles, transformations, loci, constructions, Pythagoras, trigonometry, vectors and units of measure.
Statistics and Problem Solving: Collecting, representing and analysing data, and applying mathematical knowledge to solve a range of problems.
