About Starting School Workshop Phonics with Robot Reg

Give your child a head start before school with this series of 3 lessons that help to promote school readiness.
This series of lessons will introduce your child to the first series of sounds they will learn in school as well as the skill of oral blending, giving them a head start compared to their peers. It will help with name recognition, gross and fine motor skill development and help to increase their confidence.
It may even be a great opportunity to meet some new friends to help with that transition into their new school setting.
These sessions will be fun, engaging and hands on/practical so your children learn without realising they are even learning!
Parents are required to stay and support their child.
At the end of the 45minute phonic session, there will be an opportunity to hang around fort 15 minutes to enjoy a drink of squash or water for each child and a tea/coffee for the parents. Biscuits will also be included. There will be a short craft activity too!
