About Paddlesport Safety and Rescue course
12 - 18yrs+
The PSRC aims to provide paddlers with the key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely and be able to deal with common problems in a sheltered water environment. The course is designed for all paddlers irrespective of their chosen craft.
Age - 12+ years
Ratio - 1:8
Craft - Canoe, Kayak, Paddleboard or sit on top
Course provider - Judith
Pre-requisites - Explore award or equivalent paddling ability in your chosen craft
Course content:
-Clothing and Equipment
-Safety frameworks
-Contact and Towing rescues
-Self-rescues
-Deep water rescues
-Reflection and development
