About Stay & Play the forest school way - Bright Meadows

This is a block of 8 sessions, for you and your little one to join an outdoor, nature-based stay & play session in your local family hub, run on forest school principles.
What that means in practice is our sessions offer you the chance to gently go out of your comfort zones, be that allowing your child to get wet/muddy/messy; you will be learn to stand back and quietly support your children's play, based on what they're interested in. Each week runs on a theme, which offers starting points for exploration and play. We offer sensory, messy (sand/mud/water) play, nature exploration, the chance for toddlers and pre-schoolers to follow their interests.
Although attendance at each session isn't compulsory, we encourage attendees to come as often as possible in their block, for them and their children to build relationships with the space and the other families.

Things to know
What you need to bring
If you have them, bring either clothes you don't mind getting dirty, or waterproof puddle suit or similar. We do have stock to borrow if you need to.
What we provide
We will provide drinks and snacks, but you are free to bring your own if you need to.
