We're joining forces with Wigan & Leigh Archives this summer for an exciting series of workshops to bring local history to life through technology- exploring the past in creative and interactive ways. Dive into history like never before-build, animate, and game your way through Wigan & Leigh’s rich heritage! Choose one or all of the below sessions-

Thurs 31st July: Rebuilding the past.

Explore the slum housing of the 1930's in Minecraft, demolish and rebuild a better alternative!

Thurs 7th August: Sporting Heroes.

Learn about our local sporting heroes and develop your own sport themed video game.

Thurs 14th August: Farming Machines.

Find out more about a local agricultiral equipment company and create your own farming machine in Lego Robotics.

Thurs 21st August: Vote to Animate!

Discover the story of the Suffragettes, and recreate their protests with digital amination!
