You may have previously known us as Discovery Sports Coaching, but as we’ve grown and evolved, so has our mission. We’re excited to announce that we are now Beyond the Physical East Midlands – a fresh name that better reflects everything we stand for and everything we offer to families across the community.

For busy families, finding safe, fun and engaging childcare before and after school can be a challenge. Our wraparound care settings provide children with structured, active sessions where they can let off steam, try new activities and build positive routines – all delivered by our experienced, caring team. Every session is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and packed with variety, from sports and games to creative play and teamwork activities.

Active Camps That Keep Kids Moving

School holidays shouldn’t mean screens and boredom – they should be packed with fun, friends, and energy! Our Active Camps offer exciting, affordable holiday childcare where every child can get stuck in, stay active, and make lasting memories. From obstacle courses and team games to creative challenges and themed days, every camp is designed to boost confidence, encourage teamwork, and most importantly – be loads of fun.

A Football Pathway for All Abilities

Got a young footballer in the family? Whether they’re just discovering the game or looking to take their skills to the next level, our football sessions cater for all abilities. Our experienced coaches focus on creating a positive, player-centred environment where children learn, develop, and love the game. We run weekly football sessions and even Walking Football for senior adults.
